Curtis Pond has largemouth bass, perch, pickerel and sunfish. It's an excellent place to take someone new to fishing, as they will surely get some action and have an overall great experience. We practice catch-and-release fishing to ensure the future of our unique, Vermont fishery, so make sure to bring your camera. Make sure to bring your fishing liscense too. Worms and crawlers are available for purchase just around the corner at the Maple Corner Store. We have fishing gear to rent or you can bring your own.

If you are more adventurous, try car-topping a canoe to the other lakes and ponds in the area. You can rest assured there is plenty of bass and trout in many of these little-known ponds and lakes, and you will often have the entire place to yourself!
